Aussie Training Update #1
|
 The team arrived in Dallas around 10:30 pm on Friday, Sept
26th. By the time they arrived out at the river in Tin Top, Texas,
it was past 1:30 am. Most of Saturday was spent lounging around,
doing site seeing, and getting used to the time difference.
On
Saturday evening, the Barefoot Central gang took the team to a local
steak house for a good old Texas steak or chicken fried steak. The
evening was capped off when the team was asked to place their feet on
the Barefoot Central wall of fame. Each team member was put
through the BFC ritual of painting each skiers foot, then having two
team members lift them as their foot is place carefully in place by
Stuart Singer, one of the founding members of Team Barefoot
Central. Once the image is in place, each foot is signed. It
is always interesting to see the various foot sizes and widths.
