Team Australia had a full agenda their last 3 days in Dallas.  Friday was packed with more skiing, but there was an added bonus of participating in a Barefoot Central photo shoot.  Intensity Sports was kind enough to ship a big box of their 2004 Barefoot Suit line to give the Aussies and opportunity to ski in and provide feedback for improvements.  So off to the water we went to take some great action photos of Brett New and the team having fun.

On Saturday, we woak everyone up at the crack of dawn, packed our bags, and headed to Waco, Texas to visit the boys on the Brazos.  Aaron York and Stuart Parsons rolled out the red carpet for the team.  We couldn't have wished for any better weather or water conditions.  We arrived in Waco at 9:30 am and were on the water skiing on glass calm water at 10:00 and didn't stop until 6 pm.  We tricked, slalomed, jumped, and then did it all again.  We had a total of 4 Sanger Barefoot Boats with us that day assuring everyone plenty of water time.  Kyle and Debbie Fahrenthold, fellow Team Barefoot Central members, also pulled their boat to Waco from Dallas.  Kyle took some great pics and video throughout the day.  Kyle's boat was voted as having the smoothest wake of all the boats.

The day was capped off with a HUGE party put on by the Brazos River Rats Barefoot Club.  Aaron York and his band played great music from 8pm until 1am and the food and beer was a plenty.  We all had tons of fun dancing and singing to nearly every song they played.  Fran and Gizzy couldn't seem to stop dancing.  We rounded the Team up around 10pm and headed back to Tin Top for the night.  The 2 hour ride home was filled with plenty of laughing and singing.  We arrived back at Tin Top around 12:30am.

Sunday morning began early as well.  Gizzy, Michael, and John Price were up and on the water by 7am.  The rest of the team slept in til 8am.  There was then a mad rush to pack the bags, clean up the boats, straighten up the cabins and head off to Dallas, which is about 1-1/2 hours from Tin Top.  The reason for the rush was because the entire team was going to see the Dallas Cowboys play the Phoenix Cardinals at Texas Stadium.  We arrived at the game right in time and had a blast as we watched the Cowboys beat up on the Cardinals.  Though most of the team didn't understand US Football rules, they more than made up for it with their enthusiasm and cheering.  They loaded up on cowboy souvenirs and ate plenty of hot dogs.

After the game, we made a point to stop off at some of Dallas' great sports stores and electronic stores.  The Aussies were amazed at the size and selection offered at American stores.  And the prices were amazing as well.  The boys spent most of their time loading up on the latest DVD movies.  We almost lost Warren Wark in one of the electronics stores.   Bart and Jack found the perfect winter-wear.  Heated socks.  Bart couldn't have been more excited when he saw them.

After shopping, we stopped at a local eatery, "The Wing Stop", for dinner.  We ordered 300 wings and severel bowls of pinto beans and potatoe salad.  You can't beat cold beer and good wings.  The team really seemed to enjoy the evening, especially when Chuck Gleason offered Leigh Sloot $20 US if he could eat 20 HOT wings, and an extra $5 bonus if he capped it off by eating one "ATOMIC-HOT" wing.  20 wings may sound easy, but Leigh had already eaten about 25 wings before Chuck offered the challenge.  Leigh took the challenge and we all laughed hysterically as his face turned several shades of red throughout the feast.  Leigh's eyes were watering like a baby.  He couldn't get the last wing down fast enough in order to get a drink of water to cool down his mouth.  Geoff Davis took Chuck up on a challenge just to eat one Atomic Wing and then not drink anything for 5 minutes.  We all thought Geoff was about to pass out as he concentrated on not thinking of his lips being on fire during the 5 minutes.

After dinner, the team spent their last night at our house in Dallas.  The boys enjoyed playing some basketball, while Cameron took the opportunity to take a ride on the BFC Harley.  He took all the girls on a ride up and down the street.

The trip was completed at 9am Monday morning when the team left for the airport.  They had so much luggage we had to use my truck to help them get it all to the airport.

We want to thank the Australian Team for visiting us here at Barefoot Central and letting us be a part of their fun for the week they were in Dallas.
