US Team Update #1

On Tuesday the 30th, Al Morrison and Mike Suarez arrived at Gliding Soles Barefoot Camp. Mike and Keith picked Al up at 11:30 at the Tampa Int. Airport. The next morning, Billy Benoist met us at the boat ramp for an early morning of skiing. The day went well. Everyone had an awesome few sets. Al skied many passes of slalom scoring at least a 20…. in three passes. Billy skied many slalom and trick passes standing them all up. The next morning we all took a jump set on the beautiful Hillsborough River. The water was glass and everyone jumped great. Mike landed some nice jumps and decided to work on tricks. Laura Swzed and her mom Patty met us at the boat launch. Laura skied awesome in the drastic change from cold to warm weather. Later that evening the Austrian Jr. Barefoot team drove over to take some ski runs behind the Sanger. After they left to head back to the hotel, Al, Keith, and Mike went out to eat at the Firehouse Bar and Grill. We ordered "911" wings and Al took the smallest bite you could take out of a wing. He said it was so hot his lips and tongue were on fire. He had the waitress at his fingertips when he was begging for things to cool his mouth down. Al ended up having a loaf of bread, three Sprite’s, two waters and four packets of soup crackers! Mike and Keith were laughing their heads off while Al choked on his own tongue! So, Al do you want another??
