Sanger DLX - Recommended Options

If you are in the market for a new Sanger DLX, we would recommend buying your boat with the following options.  We have found that having these options not only increases the pleasure of owning the boat, but also help maintain resale value should you wish to sell your boat later:

When ordering your new Sanger, be sure to ask for the following:

Must haves:
Barefoot Package - this includes the plate and performance prop
6.2 Liter Mercruiser engine.
The extra horsepower makes the DLX a formidable barefoot boat.  You'll get all the speed you need and all the footers will lover skiing it, and you'll still be able to do everything else you want to on the water.
Wake Series Package #2 -
Buying the DLX will give you the great option of adding water ballast tanks.  These can be used for both wake-boarding and footing.  Footers can use them to simulate tournament load conditions, even if you only have one or two people skiing with you.  The Wake Series package #2 comes with front and rear ballast tanks as well as the tower.  Make a note to tell them you want the Barefooter graphics.
AC outlet in back storage compartment
- will make it easy to fill a fat sac that you can put in the back compartment.  A great way to train for tournament loads.
Boat Cover - this is a must
Shrinkwrap -
Sanger ships from California, so if you live in the midwest or east, be sure to have them shrinkwrap your boat for shipping.  Otherwise, you may not recognize the boat when you get it.

If you ski in Hot climates, we recommend:
Bimini top - much cheaper to order from the factory - all stainless hardware and it will match your boat.

If you ski in Cold climates, we recommend:
Heater or Hot water shower or both.
