If you are in the market for a new
Sanger DXII, we would recommend buying your boat with the following
options. We have found that having these options not only
increases the pleasure of owning the boat, but also help maintain
resale value should you wish to sell your boat later:
When ordering your new Sanger, be sure
to ask for the following:
Must haves:
Barefoot Package - this includes the
plate and performance prop
6.2 Liter Mercruiser engine. The extra horsepower is an
approx $1,100 dollar upgrade and well worth the extra speed (+ 2-3
mph) and value your boat will retain later. Just ask
yourself. If you had the option to buy a pre-owned boat with a
6.0 or 6.2 liter engine, wouldn't you want the 6.2 first?
8.1 Liter 420 HP Mercruiser engine. For those with the
need for Ultimate speed, this engine will fulfill your every
dream. But you'll have to belly up at least $7,500 for the upgrade.
For those skiers who like to ski in the upper 40s and low 50s, the
8.1L is the ticket. It will take you to places few boats and
skiers have ever experienced.
Tower - Sangers look awesome with towers, and they are much
cheaper to get them factory installed. Have the tower pre-wired
and then you can get your local radio shop to install the sound system
of your choice.
AC outlet in back storage compartment - will make it easy to fill
a fat sac that you can put in the back compartment. A great way
to train for tournament loads.
Boat Cover - this is a must
Shrinkwrap - Sanger ships from California, so if you live in the
midwest or east, be sure to have them shrinkwrap your boat for
shipping. Otherwise, you may not recognize the boat when you get
it.
If you ski in
Hot climates, we recommend:
Bimini top - much cheaper to order from the factory
- all stainless hardware and it will match your boat.
If you ski in Cold climates, we recommend:
Heater or Hot water shower or both.
Some other
nice options to consider
Pop up cleats
Larger 34 gal gas tank instead of the standard 29 gal.
