Sanger's Wood Construction Does Not
Rot!
It is now standard industry practice to add foam or hollow fiberglass
stringers to a pre-made hull and to justify this compromise as a
technological improvement. As naval engineers and master boat builders
know, there is no combination of materials that can match a
moisture-sealed wood/glass composite structure for strength, vibration
dampening and longevity. This is why Sanger remains committed to the more
costly process of hand-fabricating our Aqua-Beam cored composite stringer
system which is an integral element of each hull. This Construction
