Ken Cowles Ken, make sure you show the bottom of your feet when you do a sit down stand up.  Also, when doing a front toe hold, be sure to show both hands off the handle.  A good way to do that is turn your hands out away from your body, then back in.  Great work!  You passed! We'll be waiting on your 1000 pt run. Sarasota, Florida Aug 16, 2007 46

Tips from the Judges

Here are some emails we've received from actual 3-Event Judges:
As a regular judge, I noticed that when you do a one foot stand up on your start, only the foot that you intend to stand up on may touch the rope. In other words the foot that you hold in the air can't touch the rope. I know this is a fun thing, but I would like to educate skiers who may tournament ski as well. Also, Mr. Everything wanted to know if you can call two start speeds. The answer to that is yes.  Dayna Lough - Beaumont, Texas
