Mike Seipel

In the world of Barefooting, you can't have a conversation about training techniques and coaching without somewhere in the conversation talking about Mike Seipel.  In the early 1980s, Mike gave the sport needed elegance as he perfected many maneuvers in an upright, clean style. This sophisticated technique allowed him to set world records in the trick event. Mike is most well known for being the first footer to do tricks like one-foot 360 turns and a stepover back-to-front feet-to-feet in competition. He was also the first U.S. footer to accomplish the toe turn.  And let's not forget how Mike blew away his competition at the 1990 Nationals by being the first footer to ever jump inverted.
