2005 Barefoot Central PB Awards Program
Show Us the Money!!

The BarefootCentral.com PB Awards Program is back for it's 3rd year in 2005.  We have paid nearly $6,000 in shopping credits since we started the program.  The program is simple, if you're a Barefoot Central team member and you score a PB at a 3-Event tournament or win 1st place in a Figure-8 competition, you'll get a $25 gift certificate to shop for anything you like in the BFC Pro Shop.
Each member can submit a maximum of 4 PBs per year, and we will double the payout if a PB is recorded at the US Nationals or Footstock.

Note:  Barefoot Central employees and promo skiers are not eligible for PB payouts.  We already get enough of a hook-up as it is.  Promo skiers can still submit their PBs for posting.

We've wiped the slate clean.  The 2005 stat board is all new.  The 2005 Program will run from May 1, 2005 until the 2005
US 3-Event Nationals for 3-Event entries and FootStock for Figure-8 entries.
Score a PB outside that date range, and it will feel good, but sorry, you won't get paid.
Please Note:  All PB credits awarded in 2005 must be used by Dec 31, 2005.

Note:  In order to compete in an official 3-Event or Figure 8 tournament, you will need to be an active member of the USA Waterski's American Barefoot Club.  You can join for a year, or pay a daily fee at each tournament you attend.  The best bet is the yearly membership.  You'll receive a monthly subscription to USA Waterskier Magazine and also receive official ABC membership ID cards and stickers.  For more information on how to join, click here.

Step 5:    Get back out on the water and start working on your next PB.

Questions You May Have About the Program

1.    Can I get cash instead of a credit?

Answer:

No, our goal is to get more footers buying their barefoot gear from BarefootCentral.com
2.    What if my purchase exceeds my credit?

 Answer:

You will be responsible for paying the balance via credit card.
3.    Is the credit is US dollars or in the currency of the country I live in?

 Answer:

 US Dollars
4.    Is there a limit to the number of PBs I can get get credit for?

Answer:

Yes, we are calling this our "Sand Bag" clause.  You will only be able to claim a maximum of 4 PBs per year.
5.    Can you define what you consider a Personal Best (PB)?

Answer:

A PB is the highest score you have ever posted in an event, in your life-time.  You may not have competed for several years, but your highest score has never changed.
6.    If I score a PB in a tournament, but have not joined, can I join and then submit that PB just after.

Answer:

No, you must be a member prior to scoring the PB.
7.    What if I score more than one PB in a tournament

Answer:

At this time, we are only allowing you to submit one PB per tournament. So you'll have to pick one to submit for your credit.
8.    Why do I have to be a member of Team BarefootCentral.com?

Answer:

Because we're not totally insane.  Our ultimate goal is to generate more members.  Membership is what enables us to offer you unbeatable deals on pricing, and allows us to do things like this.
9.    I'm still not satisfied, what else do you have to offer?

Answer:

To kick things up a notch, we will double the credit if the PB is scored at a Nationals or Worlds Competition. For Figure-8's, that would be Footstock.  So be sure to bring your best to the big show.
10.    Anything else we need to know?

Answer:

BarefootCentral.com reserves the right to change the rules or cancel this program at any time, for any reason.  You must be an active member both before you perform your PB and when you submit your PB for credit.
