South Africa
South Africa has a reputation for producing world class barefooters.  World records have been flowing like water out of South Africa the last few years due to the likes of young Heinrich Sam, the top junior footer in the world, and Andre de Villiers, the tricks world record holder and only barefooter to ever trick over 10,000 pts.

Our in country reporter and promo skier is Eugene Sam.  Eugene is the coach to Heinrich and Andre and has become known as one of the top barefoot coaches in the world.  Eugene offers us a behind the scenes view of barefooting in South Africa.  He'll be bringing us stories from South Africa and the European Union, as they compete in that region as well.
