Chuck,
I'd like to nominate Alan Brewster as Footer of the Month
because he shows so much love for the sport! Actually,
it's not just the sport but he's passionate about his family, profession
and part time job/hobby, which is selling boat lifts. Now
that I think of it he takes everything to the next level.
In his early 20's he made the Olympic
Mogul Team but just one week prior to the Olympics he sustained a spiral
fracture in his leg. He's had about six
knee surgeries but that hasn't stop him from getting out on the water
and doing what he enjoys most, barefoot waterskiing!
Alan helped organize a clinic last year with me and he
decided to take the bulls by the horn and host the clinic this year on
his own. Despite New Hampshire's flash flood warnings the past four
weeks before the clinic he still moved on in a positive direction!
Besides the floods,
Alan also tweaked his knee
and was still able to get a knee brace
just in time for the clinic He wouldn't miss a
day out in the boat for anything!
I enjoy staying with Alan most of all because of the
warmth is family has to offer. His kids
(Amber, Tyler and Matty) are perfectly behaved and also love to
barefoot, knee board and wakeboard. If
the kids do step out of line Alan and his wife Kira bring them back down
to reality quickly! With my traveling I
could be Nanny 911 but when I visit the Brewster's I see how it's really
suppose to be done! That's why when it's
time to barefoot or just go out in the boat for fun the kids appreciate
it!
So, between working full time, raising three kids, being
a husband, selling and setting up lifts as well as organizing an awesome
barefoot clinic I think Alan Brewster should be Footer of the Month. Oh
yeah, he's quite an awesome barefooter as well!
Sincerely,
Keith St.Onge
