Phillip Damuth, an 18 year old barefooter from Dallas, Texas has been selected as the May Footer of the Month and later voted the 2000 Footer of the Year.  

Phillip won this month by performing this really cool run behind an air boat down on the Brazos River in Cleburne, Texas.  Phillip is a Mens 1 competitor and is currently attending college in Orlando, Florida.  Phillip trains during the year with Keith St. Onge while in Florida and Paul Stokes while in Texas.

Phillip is also known for his long endurance runs during the annual Dam-to-Dam barefoot race held in Austin, Texas each year.  You're sure to see more of him as he climbs the ranks at Nationals each year.

Congratulations Phillip on winning the May 1999 Barefoot Central Footer of the Month. You are now eligible to win the "Mack Daddy" of all prizes.  Next January, you could be voted by your peers to be the 2000 Barefoot Central Footer of the Year.  It's no easy prize to win, just ask Heath Cooper, the 1999 Footer of the Year.
