Chuck,

Although we haven't been blessed with a mild spring, we did manage to reach the mid 40's on March 31.  With 7 guys, one girl and two boats we headed to the Minnesota river.  The boats were put the test dodging ice chunks and the local authorities stopped by to find out what the hell was going on, from the warmth of their patrol car of course.  But all and all the day was a success.
